இணையான ஸ்தலமாக விளங்கும், சம்மந்தர், மாணிக்கவாசகர், திருநாவுகரசர், பட்டினத்தார், பத்திரகிரியார், அருணகிரியார் போன்ற அருளாளர்களால் பாடி பரவி வழிபட்ட மத்யார்ச்சுன எனும் திருவிடைமருதூரில் ஸ்ரீ சாதி இனத்தவரும் குலதெய்வமாகவும், பக்தகோடி மக்கள் இஷ்டதெய்வமாகவும் கொண்டு பால்குடம், அபிஷேகம் செய்தல், பொங்கல் படையல், பளயம் போடுதல், கனி தீபங்கள் ஏற்றுதல் எலுமிச்சை பழத்தில் மாலை சாற்றுதல், சந்தன காப்பு அலங்காரம் மற்றும் அன்னதானம் வழங்குதல், தோஷம் நீங்க விரதம் இருத்தல், மஞ்சள் செவ்வாடை அணிதல் , மாலை போட்டு கொள்ளுதல், மஹாபிஷெகம், மாவிளக்கு ஏற்றுதல், அங்கப்பிரதட்சணம் செய்தல் என்று பலவிதமான முறைகளில் பக்தகோடிகள் தங்கள் வேண்டுதல்களை பக்தி நேர்த்தியுடன் செய்து வருகின்றனர்.<br>திருவிழா காலங்களில் காப்பு கட்டிக்கொண்டு, அலகு காவடி போட்டுகொண்டு ஆடி பாடி வருகின்றனர். இவ்வாலயத்தில் விபூதி, class="">மஹா சிவராத்திரி உற்சவ திருவிழா </h4> <p style="text-align:justify;"> வருடா வருடம் மாசி மாதம் கிருஷ்ண பட்சம் சதுர்தசியன்று மஹா சிவராத்திரி திருவிழா பாரம்பரிய முறையில் கொடியேற்றம். <br>சக்தி ககரகம், அக்னி கொப்பரை, மயான கொள்ளை போன்ற நிகழ்வுடன் திருவிழா நடைபெறுகிறது. விழாவில் மிகபெரியளவில் அன்னதானம் நடைபெறுகிறது. <br>சிவபெருமான் மாசி மாதம் அம்மாவாசைக்கு முதல் நாள் மயானம் வந்து தங்கியதால் அன்றைய தினமே சிவன்ராத்திரி என்று வழக்கத்தில் சொல்வார்கள். அன்றுதான் சிவனுக்கு பிடித்த பிரமஹத்தி தோஷம் விலகியது என்பதை நினைவு கூறவே அதனை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டே இத்திருவிழா சிறப்பாக இன்றும் நடைபெற்று வருவது ஒரு சிறப்பம்சமாகும். <br>ஸ்ரீ அம்பாள் உற்சவர் அலங்காரத்துடன் திருவிடைமருதூர் தேரோடும் வீதியில் பவனியாக ஊர்வலம், மேளம், தாரை, தப்பட்டை, வானவெடி போன்ற பல்வேறு கலை நிகழ்ச்சியுடன் ஊர்வலம்
